The eighth edition of Lux Tour Solidarity will bring together entrepreneurs, collectors, business leaders and partners for a two-day event combining exceptional cars, Luxembourgish heritage, gastronomy and a charitable mission: supporting the construction of an orphanage in Luxembourg.
In Luxembourg, prestige is often measured not only by what is displayed, but by what it enables. This is precisely the positioning of Lux Tour Solidarity 2026, an event that brings together the codes of luxury, entrepreneurship and philanthropy around a cause with tangible local impact.
Taking place on 20 and 21 June 2026, the eighth edition of Lux Tour Solidarity aims to showcase Luxembourg through some of its strongest assets: its landscapes, its castles, its gastronomic culture and its capacity to mobilise a business ecosystem around meaningful initiatives.
The project was presented to the press at GRIDX on 20 May 2026, setting the tone for an edition built around four pillars: automotive excellence, national heritage, gastronomy and solidarity.
At the heart of the event is the Fondation Sarah Grond, created following the personal tragedy experienced by Yves Barthels after the sudden loss of his wife, Sarah Grond. From this loss emerged a commitment to support children in Luxembourg who have lost one or both parents. The ambition of the foundation is concrete: to contribute to the construction of an orphanage in Luxembourg.
The tour will start on Saturday 20 June from GRIDX, under the auspices of Losch, premium partner of Lux Tour Solidarity. The route will take participants through some of the country’s most emblematic sites, including the Château de Schengen, the Moselle Valley, Echternach Abbey, and the castles of Bettendorf, Vianden, Urspelt, Wiltz, Turelbaach and Colmar-Berg.
The itinerary gives the event much of its identity. It places Luxembourg’s landscapes and architectural heritage at the centre of the experience, transforming the drive into a curated discovery of the Grand Duchy’s cultural and natural assets.
Automotive passion remains the event’s most visible signature. The 2026 edition will feature exceptional vehicles including a Ferrari F40 Plexi, a Praga Bohema, the Quarkus prototype, rare oldtimers, youngtimers and other collector models.
A special moment will also be dedicated to the children supported by the Fondation Sarah Grond. With the involvement of Lamborghini Luxembourg, official partner of the event, each child will be invited to share a ride in an exceptional car with a chosen godfather or godmother for the day.
The Saturday programme will culminate in a gala dinner at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains. Gastronomy will play a central role, with Traiteur Kirsch, Maison Reynaud de Rungis, Michael Meziane, Arnaud Vanhamme, Esteban Salazar and Michelin-starred chef Luca Husser contributing to a culinary experience built around craftsmanship, premium products and wine pairings by Domaines Vinsmoselle in collaboration with Maison Rossi.
The evening will also host the traditional Lux Tour Solidarity tombola, with proceeds donated to the Fondation Sarah Grond. It is this mechanism — turning a high-end social and business gathering into direct support for a local cause — that gives the event its broader relevance.
On Sunday 21 June, the Lux Car Meeting will open the experience to a wider public from 10am to 12pm at Parc Hotel Alvisse. Free of charge, it will offer enthusiasts, families, collectors and clubs the opportunity to discover exceptional vehicles and meet the community behind the event. Owners of notable cars will also be able to exhibit their vehicles.
With more than 50 partners involved, including Losch, Delhaize Luxembourg, Lamborghini Luxembourg, Ayvens, Traiteur Kirsch, Autopolis, GRIDX, Windeshausen, Motor’s Concept, Remax Authentic and ID+P, Lux Tour Solidarity illustrates a form of purpose-driven prestige increasingly relevant in today’s luxury and business landscape.
Its proposition is clear: use the appeal of exceptional cars, fine gastronomy and Luxembourg’s scenery to serve a cause that reaches far beyond the event itself. In that sense, Lux Tour Solidarity 2026 is not only a celebration of excellence. It is a reminder that prestige can become a vehicle for solidarity.
