HEKTAR, Exceptional Residential Projects In Luxembourg

HEKTAR refines Luxembourg real estate through selective, high-end and sustainable developments.

For several years, the real estate firm HEKTAR has been developing a demanding approach to residential real estate in Luxembourg. Its signature: a carefully curated selection of high-end properties and new developments in the most sought-after locations.

In just a few years, the real estate agency HEKTAR has become a trusted partner for a demanding clientele seeking quality real estate in Luxembourg. Founded by Kim Felten, the company has developed around a clear positioning: offering a carefully selected portfolio of high-end existing properties and thoughtfully chosen new developments. “From the very beginning, our ambition was to work with properties that truly convince us, whether through their location, their architecture, or the quality of their construction,” explains the founder and managing director of HEKTAR.

This approach is also reflected in the selection of new developments that the agency markets off-plan (known in French as VEFA – Vente en l’État Futur d’Achèvement) in Luxembourg. The agency favors well-established developers and projects that stand out for their architecture, the quality of their finishes, and the use of sustainable materials. “We pay close attention to the specifications, such as window frames or the type of façade. We favour durable materials such as natural stone or brick, for example, and we like our properties to have something extra,” he adds.

Projects In The Most Sought-after Neighbourhoods

HEKTAR’s activity focuses on Luxembourg City and its surroundings, including highly sought-after neighbourhoods such as Limpertsberg, Belair, and Merl. In Merl, the agency is currently marketing two high-end residential projects that face each other and remain human-scale developments: Louis XIV and Genevo House.

“Luxembourg-Merl is particularly attractive to local buyers or expatriates from large cities who are looking for a genuine neighborhood lifestyle, with nearby shops, a lively central square, and the ability to move around easily on foot,” notes Kim Felten. The agency is also interested in emerging urban hubs such as Belval, a district undergoing major transformation that enjoys strong attractiveness, particularly thanks to the presence of the University of Luxembourg, the Rockhal, and excellent public transport connections.

“Belval is a strategic location where we are marketing an eco-responsible mixed-use project called ROOTS. Ideally located, it is part of a dynamic neighborhood surrounded by shops, restaurants, and offices. It’s a rapidly developing area that is attracting more and more residents,” he explains.

A Portfolio Of Exceptional Properties

Beyond these new residential developments, the agency also offers a diverse portfolio of exceptional existing properties. “We currently have one of the largest selections of penthouses in Luxembourg City and the surrounding areas; this is a type of property that is particularly sought after. But we also offer contemporary villas near the capital, as well as properties located in remarkable natural settings, particularly in the Moselle region,” says the managing director of the real estate firm.

An Expanding Portfolio Of Projects

Since its creation, the agency based in Luxembourg-Cessange has experienced steady growth. “In recent years, HEKTAR has seen strong development, with an increasing number of exclusive projects in sought-after locations. To support this growth, we are currently expanding our sales spaces and strengthening our team with new multilingual talents capable of assisting an international clientele.” Several new projects are expected to join the agency’s portfolio in the coming months, confirming HEKTAR’s development momentum. “We will soon be launching several exciting new projects, notably in Luxembourg near Place de l’Étoile, but also in Steinsel and on the Fentange plateau,” concludes Kim Felten.
