A New Chapter For Brunello Cucinelli Luxembourg

Laurens Krekels and Bram ter Harmsel extend their vision of Italian craftsmanship with Brunello Cucinelli Luxembourg.

Since founding Les Hommes d’Amsterdam in 2021, Laurens Krekels and Bram ter Harmsel have built a distinctive world of Italian luxury, now expanded through Brunello Cucinelli Luxembourg.

When Laurens Krekels and Bram ter Harmsel opened Les Hommes d’Amsterdam in Luxembourg City in September 2021, their ambition was clear: to create a destination where Italian craftsmanship, personal service and informal luxury come together.

Their complementary backgrounds shaped the concept from the outset. Laurens previously worked in the financial sector in Amsterdam and Luxembourg, while Bram built his career in Italian menswear at Corneliani in Amsterdam. United by a passion for timeless style and craftsmanship, they saw an opportunity for a more personal and carefully curated approach to luxury menswear in Luxembourg.

Since then, Les Hommes d’Amsterdam has grown into a trusted destination for an international clientele, combining refined ready-to-wear with specialist Made-to-Measure services.

From One Vision to Two Addresses

A major renovation completed in September 2024 marked an important step in this development. The enlarged store created more space for Made-to-Measure and strengthened its multibrand offering with houses including Cesare Attolini, Brioni, Kiton and Rifugio.

In July 2026, Laurens and Bram assumed operation of the existing Brunello Cucinelli boutique in Luxembourg. As the house’s new franchise partners, they now bring their retail experience and personal service philosophy to one of Italy’s most distinguished luxury houses.

Their own vision will become particularly visible from the upcoming winter season. For the new collection, Laurens and Bram have introduced a broader variety of styles, with a clear focus on exceptional quality, timeless sophistication and understated luxury. The aim is to present a refined wardrobe that transcends short-lived trends while remaining true to the craftsmanship and distinctive character of Brunello Cucinelli.

A Shared Philosophy of Luxury

“Brunello Cucinelli shares many of the values that have guided us from the beginning: respect for craftsmanship, understated elegance and a long-term perspective in which integrity takes precedence over short-term commercial gain,” the founders explain. “For us, this is not simply an expansion, but a natural extension of the world we have built and continue to build.”

While Les Hommes d’Amsterdam remains a multibrand destination for Italian menswear and tailoring, the Brunello Cucinelli boutique presents the complete universe of the Solomeo-based house for both men and women.

With two complementary addresses in the heart of Luxembourg City, Laurens and Bram continue to develop their original vision, bringing together exceptional Italian craftsmanship, timeless style and highly personal service.
