The Forbes Luxembourg Under 30 List takes inspiration from the first Forbes USA list, launched in 2011 to recognise and celebrate young innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders shaping the future across diverse sectors. Born from the idea that youthful ambition and innovation deserve visibility, the list spotlights rising stars to inspire others while documenting emerging trends and talent.
When we opened nominations for the inaugural Forbes Luxembourg Under 30 List at the end of summer, we were thrilled with the response: 89 candidates were put forward. Some nominated themselves, others were recommended by friends and colleagues, reflecting Luxembourg’s supportive and collaborative environment.
Reading their motivation statements was deeply inspiring, a reminder of hope and ambition in a world that can sometimes feel uncertain. From business and non-profit leaders to elite athletes and creative innovators, every candidate demonstrated remarkable drive and achievement.
Yet, Forbes applies strict selection criteria. Beyond being under 30 before the cut-off date, candidates were evaluated on tangible results: companies launched, social initiatives implemented, and measurable impact in their industries. Core considerations included impact, innovation, leadership, and vision.
The final Forbes Luxembourg Under 30 list spans a wide range of sectors, from Technology and Innovation to Hospitality and Food Service, Sports, Fashion and Retail, Healthcare/Neurotechnology, and the Arts. What unites all the honorees is their refusal to see youth as a limitation. Instead, they treat challenges as opportunities to build businesses and careers that leave a meaningful, positive mark on their communities and industries.
These young leaders do more than inspire their peers, they inspire Luxembourg itself. They exemplify a generation driven by conviction, societal ambition, and resilience in the face of challenges.
We hope that inclusion on this list accelerates their impact, connecting them with investors, mentors, and global networks, and that, in turn, their successes continue to elevate Luxembourg on the world stage.
