At 27, Davide Sorvillo is reshaping Luxembourg’s hospitality scene, bridging craft, creativity and community through ventures in brewing, media and modern gastronomy.
His first business began over a beer with friends, discussing the energy they’d seen in other European cities. Sorvillo had already been fermenting fruit juices at home, sparking a passion for fermentation and natural wine. At 23, he co-founded Satori Brewing Co. with Joseph Siebenaler and Mathias Hameeuw. The project grew into Satori Co., spanning import and distribution, events through 352 Umami, and natural wine and craft beer at Bonne Nouvelle. “It was really about being in the right place with the right people and taking that leap.”
In 2023, he co-founded Skandal Agency, “bringing big-city creativity to Luxembourg”, now working with clients including Jägermeister and Oeuvre Grande Duchesse Charlotte.
Seeking to further elevate local gastronomy, he reunited with Mathias and joined Anne Knepper to open Public House, focused on seasonal, local ingredients. It has earned multiple awards, and Knepper was named Gault & Millau Chef of the Year 2025.
His ventures now employ around 12 people. “The energy of our team gives life to our projects,” he says. His goal: “To see Luxembourg become a place where young hospitality professionals come to build their careers.”
