Forbes Luxembourg Shines a Spotlight on Its First Ever Under 30 Honourees

A recognition of rising talent shaping Luxembourg’s future through innovation, ambition and collective momentum.

Forbes Luxembourg celebrated the bold vision and rising influence of eighteen exceptional young leaders at its inaugural Forbes Under 30 Conference, marking a new milestone for the country’s entrepreneurial and creative landscape.

This first edition drew 89 nominations in September, a testament to the depth of talent emerging from and within Luxembourg. From this competitive pool, the Forbes editorial committee selected a shortlist based on age eligibility, scale, impact, innovation and long-term potential.

Opening the conference at BGL BNP Paribas Banque Privée in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, Forbes CEO Pierre-Yves Saint Léger highlighted the significance of this recognition:
“There are many occasions to celebrate the many talents from and in Luxembourg, but Forbes Under 30 is something else altogether. It is a lasting mark of trust from one of the most respected brands in the world when it comes to celebrating successful achievements.”

This year’s list spans an impressive breadth of industries including Technology and Innovation, Hospitality and Food Service, Sports, Fashion and Retail, Healthcare and Neurotechnology, and the Arts. What connects these honourees is not their age but their conviction that youth is not a limitation but a catalyst.

Spotlight Stories from the Stage

Among the evening’s highlights were two compelling keynote moments.

Nadia Kendall, director of the non-profit Be Human, shared her work on expanding the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative in Luxembourg. Her message “We can all do better” resonated deeply with the audience and set an inspiring tone for the event.

Charles Weis, Luxembourg’s youngest professional golfer, spoke candidly about resilience in a high-performance career, taking things one day at a time, learning from setbacks and remembering that “hard work always trumps talent”.

The event also welcomed two distinguished Forbes Under 30 alumni: Guy Reiffers, founder of Design Republic and part of Forbes Under 30 Europe in 2023, and Matteo Cernuschi, co-founder and COO of A Note Music, recognised in Forbes Under 30 Italy in 2022. Cernuschi reflected on the unexpected benefits of the recognition, joking that “it can even help you on dating apps”.

An Evening of Momentum and Meaning

The night concluded with a lively reception where founders, creators, athletes and innovators mingled with the leaders shaping Luxembourg’s next decade. The atmosphere was energetic, supportive and full of a sense of shared momentum, perfectly capturing the spirit of the Forbes Under 30 movement: not only recognition, but community.
